Dr. Lewis Brogdon is the newly appointed Dean of Institutional Effectiveness and Research and Associate Professor of Christian Studies at Bluefield College in Bluefield, West Virginia.His published works include A Companion to Philemon (Cascade 2018), (Seymour Press 2016), The New Pentecostal Message? (Cascade 2015), Dying to Lead (Seymour Press 2015), Hope on the Brink (Cascade 2013) and numerous journal articles and book chapters.
He is a former Assistant Professor of New Testament and Black Church Studies and director of the Black Church Studies Program at Louisville Seminary. He has also taught at two Historic Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs): Claflin University and Simmons College of Kentucky. He is a sought out preacher, lecturer, and panelist who regularly presents at major conferences throughout the United States and around the world.
